Former Master student

Vedangi first joined the group in August, 2017, as a visiting student from BITS Pilani, Goa Campus, India. She completed her Master thesis in May 2018, then moved on to a PhD position at the University of British Columbia. Her Master project was done in the area of high sensitivity, high bandwidth homodyne photodetectors, squeezed light detection at higher frequencies and improvements to shot noise clearance (level of technical noise below shot noise).
